Many kids love blueberry flavored items but they can get a shock if they pop a fresh blueberry into their mouths expecting it to be sweet. To help your children develop a fondness for blueberries and their great antioxidant properties, you may want to let them whip up this Blueberry Blast Smoothie recipe.
Ingredients:
3 cup any flavor yogurt
3 cup blueberries or frozen blueberries
2 cup milk
1 cup fresh blueberries for garnish
Instructions:
- Combine first three ingredients in the blender and puree until smooth.
- Pour into glass.
- Top with a few fresh blueberries and serve
Serves 4-6
To add extra fun for kids, use brightly colored or uniquely shaped glasses and a fun straw.
