Halloween Trick-or-Treat Bag Craft

At our house, my dad always stayed home to pass out goodies while my mom took us trick-or-treating. If someone will be left at your house to give out treats, your kids may enjoy putting the goodie bags together. Here is an example of how your kids can help make these trick-or-treat bags.

Supplies:

  • Small paper bags
  • Halloween stickers
  • Markers
  • Halloween shapes cut from construction paper
  • treats (candy, pencils, erasers, bubblegum, etc.)

Directions:

Decorate paper bags in Halloween themes using your art supplies. Put treats inside bags. Fold the top of the bag down and tape shut with a Halloween sticker.

After decorating, twist the bag tops closed, add a ghostly sucker in the twisted top and tie the twisted portion with string or better yet, strips of gauze, mummy style. (No pretty bows allowed here, Mom! Ok…only if the kids insist. ;) )
